It covers all areas relating to leadership, from how to become a leader to how to be successful as one.The book cites both personal experience and public examples, taking the reader from contemplating leadership to actually taking on the role. A variety of traits that are typical of leaders are touched on, such as vision, flexibility, even handedness and influence.The book also discusses practical issues like time management, promoting teamwork and delivering results and managing anxiety. Max Small points out the importance of cultivating communication, and effectively listening.This book is not just an examination of what it means to be a leader. It is a strategy for becoming one, and a guide for how to be successful.

By Southern Max Smart does an excellent job of outlining all of the traits that one needs to master in order to become an effective leader. Traits such as basic leadership principles, how to adapt to change, leading by example, and how to communicate effectively are highlighted in 7 easy to understand chapters that can be applied to those currently in a leadership role, or those who one day aspire to one. I received this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Leadership for all By MUNA ANAZODO Max Smart takes the position right from the start of this book that being a leader does not require fancy positions and titles but is something anyone can be right now and not just something to which one aspires. While it is acknowledged that some people are born with great leadership skills, it's also very possible for anyone to learn how to become a true leader. As his words illustrate, '...leadership is not a position but an opportunity to influence'.The simple writing and direct writing style also supports the idea of leadership for everyone. Many children can pick this book up and understand it completely (which is a good thing since leadership building should start at an early age). It is a great leadership 'pick me up' in less than an hour. The author provides clear steps and examples of how leadership skills such as change management, interpersonal skills and team motivation can be built. The reader comes away from the read with a few ideas of actual things to do to become a better leader in any setting.I advise anyone to read this book, especially if you haven't read much on leadership, as it's short and can give you some quick ideas that can be applied right away. There are even some relatively new ways of looking at issues such as the author's suggestion that the emphasis on grammar, syntax etc at school as opposed to the actual content of speech has made many great talkers but few great communicators.
