By Marsha I absolutely love the story line in this book along with the first book in this series "Braddock's Gold." Jay has written a lot about the history of our small town area during the French and Indian War, which is very intriguing. "Hunter's Moon" and "Braddock's Gold" are both very hard to put down, they are interesting from start to finish. The story line about Tom, his family, his religious beliefs, his job, and his connection to the gold will keep and hold the interest of many different types of readers. I would strongly recommend this book to any adult interested in reading about our area, our history or even anyone who loves a good book. You will not be disappointed. I cannot wait till the next book comes out!

By Dr.Stanley Toompas American history interwoven with a geography lesson near and about the Mason-Dixon Line, this novel is a comfort read. I will recommend this book to all Christians who are looking for an intriguing novel to read, yet do not want it laced with repulsive, foul language or satanic/evil images...yet...also do not want a "goody-goody", "un-real" all to common Christian narrative that has nothing to do with real life.. This book has characters with "character" placed in a believable setting that is easy to relate to. Enjoy!Dr. Stanley E. Toompas, Optometrist& Author of, "I'm the One the Other Isn't"
