I guess I'm not the only one having a hard time sticking to a budget.At first I was a bit uneasy with reading a book about this nemesis subject, but I took the bull by it's horns and started.Now, I'm soo glad that I did that. The 21-day Budgeting Challenge has really rebooted my brain when it comes to budgeting.I love this book and would recommend it to everyone that ever had a hard time with budgeting.This book is also great for the family economy in whole.

This is probably the hardest part for most people as they don't want to see that they're the problem and the actual budgeting doesn't even begin until day 8! Learn about concepts such as minimalism and actionable budgeting techniques such as Cash diets among 21 other valuable strategies. Each day builds upon the previous and it's written in a Fun, easy way that makes budgeting enjoyable.

I am not a total slob when it comes to finances but I think a structured approach like this will help me to cover all of my bases. I don't believe the writer left any stones unturned in dealing with the different areas of budgeting, frugal living, saving, investing and smart shopping. This is perfect for the college graduate earning his first paycheck and equally perfect for the retiree who suddenly has to learn how to live on an adjusted income. Highly recommended.

I find myself bonding with the well-wrought characters and reconfirming the often observed reality that a character’s strongest virtues can be a challenge to them with life’s complexity and chaotic events. Neil’s heroic curiosity, Katy’s intelligence and will-power, Rafael’s passionate impulses, and the multiple selfish and murderous villains in this book compel my attention as do the historic references. Living in Wyoming, I have always been intrigued by the “Wild West” so the setting of 1881 Wyoming and Dakota Territory is also irresistible with the Battle of the Little Bighorn, Fort Fetterman, cattlemen and sheep “farmers” fighting, and Black Hills gold rush towns all retelling their stories along with some surprising appearances by historic personalities. My friend has mastered his art by polishing each word and concept in the telling of his short stories and it is a real joy to see him to see him tell a longer story that I am sure will be enjoyed by any reader and recognized by qualified critics as a real contribution to story-telling.

The characters are not complex, but thoroughly lovable, and the plot is well crafted. I love the story and the hero and heroine. I mostly love the strict devotion to the geography. Fellow Google Earth fans should zoom in on Fort Fetterman, Box and Lightning Creeks, Custer City, Deadwood, and note how accurate McKee's descriptions still are. I'm not sure how accurate the depiction of Buffalo Bill, but he sure was a fun part of the plot! I strongly recommend this book to anybody who loves a good Western yarn and who loves to zoom in on Google Earth.Charles Morgan

Interesting and believable characters who epitomize the toughness and fortitude to persevere. Set in Wyoming and in the Black Hills beautiful ruggedness and delving into historical and imaginative dialogue. A very fun read, hard to put down. Looking forward to future novels written by Robert McKee!

About the Author

Justin Noble (Author, Series Co-Creator) is a certified nutrition coach, children's book author, and long time lover of children's stories. Raised in the Texas Hill Country, Justin relocated to New York City, where he developed the idea for My Body Village. One summer day, he walked into the vitamin section of his local pharmacy and was struck with an idea. If you replace the second "i" in vitamin with the letter "e," you get "vita-men." He thought to himself, "What if vitamins were put to life?" With that inspiration, he came up with the idea for a children's book where these Vita-Men could interact with human organ characters to teach children how their bodies work. From that, the concept for My Body Village was born. That Fall he wrote the first book in the series, Artie's Party: Featuring the Vita-Men!.

Ann Bonin (illustrator) has been drawing as long as she can remember. She graduated from Art Fundamentals and Graphic Design from Sheridan College in Oakville. Her first job upon graduation was illustrating designs on re-useable kids' cups for Dixie Collectibles. She now owns Par-T-Perfect-London; a children's party and event service, where she also designs all of the marketing materials for the franchise. She resides just outside of London, Ontario with her husband and 4 young daughters.

Le-Anne Noble (Developmental Editor, Series Co-Creator) has a BA in creative writing and a BA in theatre performance from Western Michigan University. She received her MFA in acting from the University of Florida. Both of her parent's worked in the medical field, so as a young child, seeing catheters and scalpels were as normal to her as seeing jump ropes and crayons. She's been acting since the age of 5, making her professional debut at the young age of 11. She's worked professionally in children's entertainment for over a decade.

By Victoria Artie's Party Featuring the Vita-Men! by Justin Noble and illustrated by Le-Anne Noble is a great book that teaches children about what happens inside their bodies. The story takes place inside the body village where the organ people are not feeling to well due to lack of nutrients. When Artie (the heart) tells the brain that the people of the village are not feeling well, he brings in the Vita-Men to make everyone feel better.I run a daycare and this book was an essential addition to my growing library. The book is geared toward preschoolers, but I think a child of any age (and even grown ups!) can benefit from the message of this book! All of the children I read it to enjoyed it and it is now a popular book that is asked to be read aloud a lot. I love that children can learn about what goes on inside their body, but it does not feel like learning because they are enjoying the story! 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A Cute Way for Children to Learn More About Their Body By Grateful Grandma This is a cute book that explains to children how their body works. Each organ in the body is introduced and a brief easy to understand explanation of what they do is given. In the story the organs are tired and not at the top of their game. The brain brings in the Vita-Men to perform a concert and revive all the organs. The one thing I wish is that not only do they perform, but there is an explanation about how the body needs to eat certain foods to get all the vitamins it needs. There is a website that children can visit to do activities and participate in a weekly challenge. A cute and interactive addition to the story.I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

She shares her religious experience in Judaism, Pravoslavic Christianity, and Islam in an honest and authentic voice. The book’s style is original and unique and the puzzle of an exotic, colorful worldview creates an appetite for more. Heavenly Bread Crusts is a 'fringe' holocaust memoir, says Prof. Yaoz Kest, holocaust researcher. Even though Wilhelmina's book concentrates on the Jewish experience, it is an international reading experience, portraying the amazing capability of man to survive harrowing experiences. The writer and poet, Wilhemina, originally published Heavenly Bread Crusts in Hebrew as well as book of poetry. The story, "Dinia and the Uzbeki Dance" won a national Israeli writing competition. In 2015 she won the "Golden Inkwell " from the Association of Hebrew Writers. Wilhemina is an educator and lecturer at an Israeli college and as researcher, published several papers in Israel and worldwide.

It covers so many essential and great information that really amazed me. The flow of message and its content are well-presented. This book shows passion and perseverance as I read it thoroughly. The story has so many great scenes and amazing sequence of events that gives colors beauty on it. Then the style of writing is easy to understand and precise that i could even imagine the great scenarios there. The author did a great job. If you want to amazed and be entertained , grab a copy of this awesome book.

Each story stood alone, but you could not understand the whole without reading them all. The experiences described were, on the one hand, horrific and sad, yet on the other inspiring that someone was able to survive the destitute nature that war creates. One thing that particularly struck me was in the first couple of stories where she described having to guard the children to make sure they did not cry and betray other’s whereabouts. The final story, Savarina and the Secrets of Wilhelmina was the one that touched me the most. It, to me, was about acceptance. Acceptance of a life of hardship, and what they hardship forced her to become, who that hardship forced her to be. The last paragraph, where she talks about accepting Wilhelmina sounded to me like a person that had made peace with a hard and difficult past, and a person who wanted to move forward into the future.

This courageous and brave little girl had to deal with such difficulties during the holocaust and never lost hope. After reading this book I have a new appreciation.

17 of 17 people found the following review helpful. Okay By Shannyn We are using this for our Kindergarten homeschooling, but the cards are not as great as what we could make ourselves. The cartoons on the cards are distracting, and some of the words are not logical choices for sight words.

27 of 30 people found the following review helpful. Great for my 4 yr old! By nettycrocker I ordered these for my 4 yr old daughter and they are great! The display picture they show here is only half accurate. The particular side of the cards they are showing here is the plain side. When you flip the card around to the other side it is in pretty vibrant colors with a boy and a girl on it and the sight word in the middle. There are 55 cards in the pack and 110 sight words in all. So 2 sight words per card, one on each side. The cards themselves seem durable and a nice thickness, not flimsy. We went through the pack and we started her on the easy ones and she was able to sound them out with out getting frustrated! I am giving this product 4 stars because I do wish the print was slightly bigger but overall I would buy these again.
