They do not usually pay attention to children's books as they get distracted, but for some reason this book did the trick and they stayed focused and listened until the very end. There were lots of smiles and giggles included. We really enjoyed story time!!!

However, it was a bit frightening to give up her pacifier! Her mother told her about the kind Pacifier Fairy that, in exchange for pacifiers, left wonderful surprise gifts for brave and mature children. Debbie had to think about that. All she needed to do was to write a note and leave her pacifier to be picked up at night. How many of us moms and grandmas have helped our little ones take this same big step? 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Help Your Child Quit the Habit By Rivera After I finished the last of Idan’s books with my nephew I decided to get another one. This one wasn’t for him of course but for his sister who is a little older. It’s definitely a good book for young children that are attached to a pacifier. Reading through it with her once did seem to get her thinking so maybe we’ll be able to get her to give up the pacifier. I thought the book was really cute and the pictures were great too. This is really good for a little girl. I’ll have to track down the boys one when Toby gets a little older (he’s still young enough for a pacifier right now).
