Rockwell The sections explained things well, but there were errors on the practice sets and the in book practice exam and their website has a technical glitch. In the verbal reasoning sections the instructions for the pick two words that make comparable sentences were missing. In the practice test one question had two C's as answers. Since neither of these will be a problem on there test itself it's not a big deal. That their website is messed up is just irritating. When I tried to enter my response to the in book exam online to get a score estimate, the fields didn't match. The header at the top of the window said 2015, and the window's title had 2014. That's not helpful, because the book I registered with them was 2016.

Although Kaplan is good at making the ideas simple and easy to understand By Amazon Customer Although Kaplan is good at making the ideas simple and easy to understand, the practice test questions are not accurate to what the GRE actually looks like. This was the most essential part of my studying, and it is what Kaplan does pretty poorly. After looking online at Magoosh's website (that blog probably saved my score) and taking ETS' practice test, I realized that Kaplan was not the best choice... but the realization was a little too late. Maybe if you are brushing up on the subjects after years of being out of school (which I was), this will be helpful. But I am sure you can find a source with clear explanations AND accurate practice tests.Also, I spoke with someone who is a GRE tutor, and he said that each of Kaplan's online tests, which you receive access to with the purchase, are weighed differently. Since Kaplan guarantees a better score, they want to show that you improve overtime. So although Kaplan's tests may have you believe your score increased, it may not necessarily be accurate to the actual day of the exam. I am not sure the validity of this, but I wish I had known that was even a possibility before making this purchase. A warning to future test takers!
