About the Author Sheila Rae Muñoz holds a Doctorate Degree in Education and taught in Christian schools for several years. She had a desire that each of her own children learn to write well, so she resigned teaching in a school setting, where there was little emphasis on writing, in order to homeschool her children. Book 1 pulls you in and before you know it, you're moving into Book 2. But it's Book 3 that is my favorite because the characters discover truth...about themselves and each other. I fell in love with them in Books 1 and 2...so walking alongside them in Book 3 was like visiting old friends...like I was a part of the story. The way the author weaves the characters' lives and stories leaves me ready for book 4....or better yet, a new series! I truly love these books and highly recommend them.

By the closing chapters, I smiled and was delighted that my soul was enthralled with such beauty and reflection of the author! She captured the reader so that they were living each adventure as that character. As the suspense would grow, I would think I had figured out what would come next. Many times I was taken completely by surprise. Smiles, tears and lots of emotion swelled up within me as each chapter began to unfold.I'm so thrilled to have read all 3 books in the Novia Scotia series. They are definately Sheila's masterpiece of being a great author. You'll be kept on the edge of your seat and not want to put the book down. I even felt empty when I didn't have the next chapter to look forward to. I highly recommend the complete series, but Rachel's Song will be the icing on the cake!By Linda K.

I planned to pace myself while reading this book but realized very early on that wasn't going to happen, I could not put it down I found myself wanting to help Rachel on her journey, even praying for some good to come her way. I laughed, I cried and I rejoiced right along with the characters. My only complaint was when the story ended I wanted to know more about this soon to be family unit. Looking forward to the next book by Mrs. Munoz. If you are looking for books that will draw you in and keep you on the edge of your seat this is the series for you.
