17 of 19 people found the following review helpful. A must have By LimeyLe Great book. I Bought the other book "math strategies" which is a total waste of money, but "advanced math wb" is amazing. If you are only AVERAGE at math this book is great at getting you a few extra points in the Quat. section. If you are amazing at math I would think this book would help perfect your abilities. To be honest I was only able to do about 60% of the problems in this book but by simply reading through the "extra tough" questions and "trying" them out I LEARNED so much, when I went through the OG my percentage of correct answers in PS went up dramatically!! I wish I had bought the "basic" workbook weeks ago to work through, but alas my test is next week and I have NO time. If you are math challenged I suggest buying the basic and advanced workbooks, and which ever subject you struggle most with (applied, geometry, etc) to help your score. By seeing the "intense" math questions in this books, it makes the gmat questions seem more achievable! GOOD LUCK!

By bisttwins The EZ Solutions Advance Workbook for the GMAT is a great book, but ONLY if you have already mastered all the related math concepts. If you feel wobbly on some or most of the math concepts, then I'd suggest you first get the EZ review books (arithmetic, algebra, etc.) before even laying your eyes on this one. Despite having an engineering background, this book proved to be very challenging to me because most problems on the test are going to be tricky, not difficult. I thought I was fine with GMAT math until this book proved me wrong. I ultimately had to get the other books to fine tune my math foundation, and if you have the entire series, you won't need any additional help in math except for the official guide. I never read or write reviews but this time I wish I had. If I had known this before, I wouldn't have wasted one week of my time on this book and would have started off in a different way with the basic workbook.Hope this will be helpful to anyone planning to buy this series.

Makes OG seem like a walk in the park By Athinabean The exercises in this book are nothing like I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot: Barrons, Kaplan OG, Princeton Review. I have them all and this book has some serious mathematics. If you can do the exercises in here, you will breeze through the exam.Warning: Not for the numerically challenged.
