Anyone who likes the Harry Potter books would like this one. An american boy goes to Hogwarts and is sorted to" Slipperon' . The story is told from his point of view.

Funny look at the underside of Hogwarts By Liberry Lady A Muddle-born American kid find himself at Hogwarts, Sorted into Slipperin House, and that sentence expresses my main annoyance with this book. Some names are changed and some aren't, and I don't understand why. Otherwise, it's an amusing look at the events of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, by someone who knows it inside and out. Our Hero (whose name slips my mind, and I don't want to interrupt this to look it up) knows even less about Hogwarts than Harry did in the first book, since, as an American who's been in England for one day when he gets his invitation, he doesn't even know about the country. We can recognize the events of the original book as they occur on the margins of his life, and this kind of gives them additional depth. Next time I read the original, I'll be looking for a confused American kid hanging around the edges of the action. Recommended for Potter fans with a sense of humor.
