Late 2008. The FBI is desperately hunting for an unidentified person, who, shortly before the 9/11 attack, and together with a would-be 9/11 victim, drew on a paper napkin six flying objects crashing into what seems to be the Twin Towers, and wrote a message that a similar enormity would occur in 2008. Is this another atrocity like 9/11? The FBI vows to find this person to solve the puzzle and thwart any attack on America, but it has barely five months. While time is running out, the FBI finds a critical clue through a TV evening magazine’s interview of Professor Betsy Bentley about her prophetic powers, in which she mentions the mysterious paper napkin. As the paper napkin puzzle is being solved, Professor Bentley is suddenly kidnapped, and unless the right action is taken, thousands of Americans will be killed, and a lie will be taken as truth ...

It had a very interesting plot and the setting is very engaging. I read it straight through and can't wait to see what's next. The stories about Professor Bentley’s (one of the main characters in the book) ability to predict using the mysterious Chinese Yin and Yang are very fascinating. I am really interested in learning Yin and Yang after reading this book. The author is a very descriptive writer and this helps the reader to clearly picture. I highly recommend the book for anyone who is interested in mystery/suspense genres.

By ViviW What amazed me was that this book combined the ancient Chinese' Yin, Yang, Qi and Gua calculation into the fortune-telling, which was quite popular in China for thousands of years prior to the so-called modern anti-superstitious era. Not only did the author have a thorough understanding of the ancient skill, the author also has an excellent understanding of the wide-ranged political events including the ones in the U.S. as well as those of other countries. Without releasing more insights, I'd like to highly recommend this well-written book!

I enjoyed it, found it hard to put down By Amazon Customer I thought it was the 5th book written by David Cao and was very surprised to find out that it was his first. I enjoyed it, found it hard to put down. The characters flowed as if real and the story, well, a different slant on an old theme but with something new. By the time you think you know the end, it changes. Then when you get to the end, read it your self you will understand.Tony Caught
