These little nuggets are awesome, especially if you're beginning your homeschool journey." - Jamie, One Blessed Momma"With this planner, you'll have an excellent record of what you've accomplished, and a keepsake that will help you remember the fun things done during the year." - Laura, Cross Seven Classical Education"The problem is, in our school at least, hardly anything ever goes as planned. The Unplanner is different, because instead of planning ahead, you simply record what you did." - Tasha, ABC's and Sweet Tea
From the Author After finishing my first book, The Unplanned Homeschooler: My Disorganized Path to Homeschooling Success, I knew the next thing I wanted to do was create a homeschool planner for people like me. I hated homeschool planners. They made me anxious. I felt pressured to fill in all the blanks, and when I failed to keep up with them, I felt like I had failed. But not when I started designing my own organizers.I left out the sections that I didn't want, and gave myself plenty of room to write a little about what the kids were learning each day, keep track of my upcoming events, and record the details I wanted to remember about some of our most awesome experiences. That's how THE UNPLANNER was born, and because I knew there were an awful lot of homeschoolers like me, who were overwhelmed with the expensive planners on the market today, I wanted to share it with everyone!

I have 2 girls, pre-k and in the 2's category; not officially required to start keeping records for homeschooling until next year, but decided to jump in and start doing the scheduled learning (flexibly, of course) along with keeping record of it. I did a lot of research on record books, but I love Tavia's blog so it made sense to try hers (and at $6.50 for two students, it was worth a try!) I do wish it were a little more beginner friendly as far as how to utilize it, but overall she did a fantastic job keeping it simple and easy to use.

It has made things so much easier for us! I no longer feel the need to push beyond the limits of our sanity just to accomplish what someone else has laid out for us in some predetermined plan. We are enjoying our school day so much more now that we have adopted the use of the Unplanner. It has eliminated the stresses of trying to fit real life, field trips, and unexpected happenings into our school day and we no longer have to try to "play catch up" when something comes up. It is a much more relaxed way of doing things and we LOVE IT!!
