Helpful exams, tips and strategies with no shenanigans By whistler If it isn't obvious from the title, this book contains three practice exams for the New PSAT format that's being implemented in the fall of 2015. There's a lot of anxiety due to the new format but having purchased this a few months ago and comparing it to other prep books out there, this is definitely one of the better, if not best ones. I wasn't sure what to expect given that Ivy Global is a new entrant in the educational preparation arena but compared to the others, this book is excellent.First, it gives clear and detailed explanations as to the changes and format for the upcoming PSAT.Second, it provides helpful tips and strategies for taking the exam as well as preparing for the exam. The strategies, instructions and exams are laid out in a simple, eye-pleasing manner without looking or feeling dumbed down or overly complicated like other prep books (if you've tried other companies, you know what I mean). It looks and feels professional without being intimidating and the tests seem right on point compared to the others out there.Finally, there are actually 3 tests within the book, just as it states and you would expect. Why is this important? Because there are other prep books out there for which you only get access to 1 and then need to jump through a number of hoops online in order to access the others. Aside from that being annoying, it's misleading and is extremely invasive of your privacy (why would a publisher need to know a kid's high school, phone number, graduation date, etc. except for their own marketing and advertising purposes?). With Ivy Global's book, you get 3 exams just as it states. No shenanigans.In summary, I would highly recommend this book.
10 of 12 people found the following review helpful. good practice tests for the redesigned psat By ps good practice tests for the redesigned psat. they look very similar to the free new psat test released by college board recently.im not sure what the reviewer below is referring to about grammatical mistakes, but in the writing section, grammar mistakes are built into the passages. also, the questions dont seem too easy or too hard, which other non-college board tests tend to be.

By phlew1120 This is helpful since we have a lack of PSAT materials for the NEW PSAT, which will be administered this fall. However, remember that these are not ACTUAL tests. Only the College Board releases are ACTUAL tests.
