By Yael Shemer I feel like this book is an absolute must have for every teacher and any parent with school age children (preschool through high school) with ADHD and I strongly encourage owning it. I have been reading and applying Sandra Reif's strategies, tools and resources for youth with ADHD throughout my 19 years of teaching in the general ed elementary classroom and in my past 8 years of parenting my own 3 children. Sandra Reif’s personal and extensive hands on experience in teaching children with ADHD brings her ideas and techniques into a realistic application in the classroom and in building the necessary connections between home and school. With all the changes that take place in the education system combined with all the new studies that are impacting our understanding of children with ADHD, I find that her newest edition is current and applicable to today’s classroom standards. Her book is incredibly easy to use and I can easily access the specific information I need fast. It’s my “go-to” book for information and strategies. Absolutely excellent!
