Delightful children's plays and games By TFLReader I was a difficult child to say the least and I remember my parents using "fables" to try to teach me lessons and keep me entertained. It wasn't until many years later that I realized how old "Aesop's Fables" were and how many children they have probably been told to. While "The Hare and the Tortoise" and "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" are probably two of the most notable, there are some great plays here that both entertain and have some valuable underlying themes. The games included at the beginning of the book are also great for children and so much fun. A book filled with timeless tales that I can't recommend enough.

This book is so versatile, and I love it. Whether you are an elementary school teacher, a busy mother of several children, a baby sitter, or if you're like me--a person who is looking to start a girl scout troop (with young girls) then this will definitely come in handy. I love the drama activities in this book, and the plays are very well-written. Can't wait to put this book to good use!
